Meet Our Pastors
|
James and Dawn Pettit were appointed as our joint pastors in October 2010, having moved to the town into a home right by the church. They say;- “ We are excited to be serving at the Bradninch Baptist Church and to become part of the community. We have met some lovely people and are greatly encouraged. We are open to any thoughts and ideas relevant to the church and welcome all comers (particularly anyone with a musical gift!) We feel God has called us to Bradninch and eagerly await His next step at this time of uncertainty.”
James and Dawn originate from Pinhoe and Zimbabwe respectively and come to us via Poltimore (which was their family home for sixteen years) and Silverton Evangelical Church where they have been worshipping and involved in leadership. James has now retired as a partner from a local law firm but is still working as a consultant two days a week. Dawn has worked as a primary school teacher but has been a home maker in recent years. The family consists of four grown up children of which two are daughters, Amy and Mary, who live in Glasgow and London respectively. Lloyde is teaching and is married to Lucy. Will the youngest has passed his first year of Medicine which he is studying at Manchester University. The family is completed by Corrie the Schnauzer who has already made many friends.
